Chelmsford Resident Named 'Student of the Month'

Rheanna Early is well-accomplished at Nashoba Tech and beyond.

Rheanna Early of Chelmsford has been selected as a November Student of the Month at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.

Rheanna, daughter of Laurie Montgomery-College and stepdaughter of Richard Brown, is a junior in the TV & Media Production/Theatre Arts program. She is an honor-roll student and was inducted into the National Honor Society as a sophomore. She is active in the Drama Club, Student Government and school newspaper, and is stage manager
for the fall production of “Legally Blonde The Musical.”

She won a gold medal as a sophomore in Digital Cinema Production in the SkillsUSA District Competition, then competed at the state level.

Rheanna was also instrumental in the production of a promotional video for Nashoba Tech. She plans to attend college to study Film, and hopes to win the Academy Award for Best Director in 2028 — the 100th
anniversary of the Oscar Awards.

Rheanna was nominated by Emily Smith, TV & Media Production/Theatre Arts instructor, who wrote: “Rheanna competed at the New England Theatre Conference in the Stage Management competition and received very positive feedback. She strives for excellence in all of her courses, and is a very positive leader in the freshman exploratory
process. She handles pressure with grace and is growing into a very positive leader and role model, both in class and in her after-school positions.”cleardot.gif
