Brandon, son of Evan and Tracy Williams, got off to an incredibly strong start for the golf team, earning medalist honors in five of the first six matches. Brandon also plays hockey in the winter and lacrosse in the spring for the Vikings. He is in the Electrical Technology program and hopes to attend college after graduation to

study Criminal Justice.

“Brandon has a 1-under and a par round to his credit to help us get off to a 4-2 record,” golf coach Patrick Miele wrote in nominating Brandon. “It’s a particularly impressive feat as we lost three of our top four golfers to graduation, and Brandon has transitioned into the number-one slot quite successfully after having some big shoes to fill the past three years.”

Michael Foley:

Michael, son of Bill and Cecile Foley, is a junior honor-roll student in the Programming & Web Development program. He has been inducted into the National Honor Society and was selected by staff to be a Kick-Off Mentor, helping incoming freshmen to acclimate themselves to Nashoba Tech. He is a member of FIRST Robotics, and over the summer, he helped the school set up all its Chromebooks and was available during teachers’ professional development to provide assistance.

Michael plans to attend either Worcester Polytechnic Institute or the University of Massachusetts Lowell to study Computer Engineering. He was nominated by Music teacher Laura Lamore, who wrote: “Mike helped with the setup of all the Chromebooks over the summer and was available to teachers. Additionally, he is one of the kindest and most respectful students I have ever met. He asks engaging questions and always has a kind word to say. He should be seen as a role model to other students.”
