Chelmsford's Julia Chamberlain Nashoba Tech Athlete Of The Month

WESTFORD, MA — Chelmsford's Julia Chamberlain, a senior at Nashoba Valley Technical High School, has been named one of that school's October Athletes of the Month.

Chamberlain is the senior captain of the cross-country team and has been a part of the team for four years.

Nashoba Tech head coach Bruce Sullivan said Chamberlain was the team's top finisher in most of the meets during the 2022 campaign.

Among Chamberlain's highlights this season were: finishing second, with a time of 31:19, in a Sept. 8 meet against Lynn Tech, a fifth-place finish in a Sept. 14 meet against Mystic Valley, and crossing with a time of 26:14 in a Sept. 28 meet against Innovation Academy.

Chamberlain, who also has competed in basketball and spring track for the Vikings, is no stranger to the Athlete of the Month award. She also received the honor in September 2020.

Chamberlain also gets the job done outside of sports. She is a high-honors student in the Health Assisting program and has been inducted into both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. She also is a freshman mentor.
