Crossing Guards Needed in Chelmsford

CHELMSFORD, MA - On the hunt for some part-time work? Perhaps becoming a Chelmsford crossing guard fits the bill.

The pay is $10 per shift and the shifts last 30-40 minutes depending upon the location.

Here are the available shifts and locations:

Harrington Elementary School:
3:15 pm – 3:45 pm - on all school days

Parker Middle School:
7:40 am – 8:20 am - on all student days
2:40 pm – 3:10 pm - on all school days

Job responsibilities include encouraging children to behave safely near traffic, helping students cross safely during existing gaps in traffic, temporarily creating gaps by stopping traffic, alerting motorists that pedestrians are in the process of using the school crossing, and observing and reporting any incidents or conditions that present a potential safety hazard to the school children or the guard.
