Firefighters Respond to Possible Overdose, a Fractured Arm, and a Fatal Crash

The following incidents were provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department, taking place between June 8 and June 14.

Sunday, June 8

  • At 12:44 a.m. a long list of firefighters and ambulances were called to I-495 South near the rest stop for a fatal motor vehicle crash. An adult man and a young child were both killed in the crash.
  • An ambulance was called to Courthouse Lane for a knee injury on the deck hockey rink.
  • Three people were reported stuck in an elevator on North Road.
Monday, June 9
  • At the Radisson Hotel, Chelmsford Police asked firefighters to respond to assess a minor injury resulting from a past assault.
Tuesday, June 10
  • On Billerica Road a man suffered a cut to the head on the basketball court in the area.
Wednesday, June 11
  • An ambulance was called to standby on Stonegate Road for a possible drug overdose.
Thursday, June 12
  • An eight-year-old possibly fractured their arm on Boston Road, requiring an ambulance.
  • A Princeton Street customer fell in the parking lot of an area business.
Friday, June 13
  • On Littleton Road, a 45-year-old woman was found unresponsive.
  • Firefighters were required on Littleton Road for a report of smoke inside the building.
Saturday, June 14
  • A crash was reported on I-495 near Exit 34 in the high speed lane, with injuries resulting.
  • A 97-year-old woman was found unresponsive but breathing on Chelmsford Street.
