CHELMSFORD, MA — Freeman Lake in Chelmsford remains closed Monday due to excessive weeds.
The lake closed on Friday following a health inspection and will remain closed until further notice.
Freeman Lake has been closed multiple times this summer due to unhealthy water conditions, including from July 20 to 22. Heart Pond also closed on August 3 for similar reasons.
