Halloween Happenings in Chelmsford this Month
There's plenty of haunted (and not so haunted) fun to go around this month in Chelmsford.

There are a number of Halloween-themed events taking place right in Chelmsford. Take a look at the list below and let us know if the comments if we’ve missed something!
- The Chelmsford Senior Center will host a Halloween Costume Parade, Lunch & Raffle on Friday, Oct. 30, starting at 11 a.m. with the raffle at 12:15 p.m. Dress in your Halloween finest and join in the spooky fun! Regular senior center lunch procedures apply.
- On Saturday, Oct. 24, a fun neighborhood Halloween costume parade beginning in the North Chelmsford Fire Station parking lot and ending at the North Town Hall Chelmsford Community Center with refreshments, crafts, music. The parade steps off at 2:30 p.m. It’s for children and adults - costumes encouraged (but not required) for all! This party is entirely volunteer run and donations to help support it are requested.
- Pumpkin Armada co-sponsored by Conservation Stewardship and Hart Pond Association Saturday, Oct. 24. Bring carved pumpkin (6” to 8” in diameter) to float. Jack-o-lanterns are placed on an individual float with a candle and placed off shore at sundown (between 5 and 6 pm). Halloween costumes are encouraged. FREE! - The 10th Annual Haunt for a Cure at the Paul Center, 39 Concord Road event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 25 from 10am-2pm. General admission is $10 per child with a $20 cap per family. Additional costs for food and admittance into the haunted trail. Benefits: The Paul Center for Learning & Recreation and Autism Speaks. The event will include trick-or-treating, games, food, prizes, live entertainment, kiddie cabins, spooky cabins, and a haunted trail.
- “Halloween Spectacular” at Chelmsford Center for the Arts is happening on Friday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. The show, supported by the Chelmsford Cultural Council, is being produced by Fred Barzyk and Chelmsford Telemedia. It will feature 2 dance companies, 3 storytellers, an original “video” poem produced in Ireland, 3 original short dramas created for the event, many animated movies and an on-stage live radio adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s “Tell Tale Heart” complete with live sound effects, music, and audience participation. In addition members of the Framingham History Center will be showcasing 1910 -1940 Halloween materials produced by the Dennison Paper Co. Tickets are $5 or $15 for a family.
