Man Charged with Assaulting Officer and More During Arrest on Warrants

At 1:50 p.m., police made a motor vehicle stop that led to an arrest. Lamar Lindsay, 27, of Cameron, N.C., was arrested on several warrants included destruction of property, several counts of abuse prevention, threatening a juror and multiple motor vehicle-related charges. In the course of the arrest on the warrants, Lindsey was charged with assault and battery on a police officer, attaching false plates to a motor vehicle, operating after a license suspension and resisting arrest.

At 4:32 p.m., a motor vehicle’s window was reported to have been broken out.

At 5:06 p.m., a motor vehicle was reported to have been egged.
