More Than 1K Homes Without Power In Chelmsford

For more than an hour hundreds were without power in Chelmsford, before it was restored. But another wave of the storm meant more outages.

CHELMSFORD, MA — More than 1,100 people are without power in Chelmsford after a second wave of the storm blew through town Wednesday evening.

Nearly 950 homes and businesses were without power in Chelmsford Wednesday afternoon, after the storm whipped winds with gusts of up to 50 miles per hour ripped through town. Then around 6 p.m. amid thunder claps and more wind, some 1,100 homes and businesses lost power.
