Police Arrest Man Sleeping in a Storage Locker

The Burlington resident was charged with breaking and entering among other charges.

Wednesday, Nov. 18

At 6:36 a.m., a suspicious van was reported near Manning Road and Carlisle Street.

At 7:51 a.m., a suspicious landscape truck was reported.

At 10:33 a.m., a person was reported to be sleeping in a storage locker on Tyngsboro Road. Police subsequently arrested Matthew Sarsfield, 31, of Burlington on charges of receiving stolen property and breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a crime.

At 4:30 p.m., an odor of natural gas was reported.
