Power Out for a Handful of Chelmsford Households

National Grid is reporting a small portion of Chelmsford has lost power.

National Grid is reporting that a handful of households in Chelmsford are without power and it could be hours before power is restored.

According to the utility, 172 households were powerless as of 9:10 a.m. Tuesday. There are 15,362 National Grid power customers in town. The area affected is just south of Route 110 in the New Yorker Avenue neighborhood, according to the National Grid outage map.

National Grid is estimating that power will be fully restored to those customers by 2 p.m. Tuesday.
