Santa Claus Arrives in Chelmsford Sunday
The Annual Holiday prelude and tree lighting will kick off the holiday season in Chelmsford on Sunday, Dec. 6.

You know it’s the holiday season when Santa Claus arrives in town.
And he’s coming Sunday, Dec. 6 as part of Chelmsford Annual Holiday Prelude and tree lighting festivities.
All the fun begins at 4 p.m. on the Common when Santa Claus makes his appearance. Throughout the next several hours, there are a variety of activities planned in a few locations from 4-6 p.m., with the big tree lighting scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Common.

This year’s festivities, all free to the public, will include horse-drawn and tractor hayrides, family face painting, treats and more.
