Spring Town Meeting Scheduled for Monday Night

Chelmsford's Spring Town Meeting is scheduled for Monday night at 7:30 p.m. inside the Senior Center, located at 75 Groton Road in North Chelmsford.

A variety of items are scheduled to be discussed, with a full list of warrant items available by clicking here.

Below are a few warrant articles of note on the agenda for Monday's meeting.

Article 11: This article would approve a variety of capital projects, totaling $3,074,694. Among the prosed capital items are a ladder truck for the Fire Department, plumbing upgrades at Parker Middle School, sidewalk construction, roadway improvements, and a heavy duty service truck for the Department of Public Works.

Article 20: Residents are asked to approve this agenda item which relates to dog licenses. It would set the fees for a variety of dog-related costs such as licenses, and would also change the wording of several by-laws related to animals.

Article 25: This proposed article asks residents to make a decision to amend Chapter 132 "Sewage Disposal" in the code of the Town of Chelmsford by adding a new section related to grinder pumps. Article 26 also deals with the grinder pump issue.
