Two Bicyclists Struck by Vehicles in Recent Days

The following incidents were provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department, taking place between June 1 and June 7.

Sunday, June 1

  • On Technology Drive firefighters were called for a report of a person down in the bathroom.
  • A truck fire was reported on I-495 and Chelmsford firefighters were sent to assist Westford near Exit 32.
  • Near Bertucci's on Littleton Road an ambulance was required when a bicyclist was struck by a motor vehicle.
Monday, June 2
  • At 11:30 a.m. a bicyclist was struck by a motor vehicle on Maple Road and Acton Road.
  • Firefighters responded to North Road for a bark mulch fire.
Tuesday, June 3
  • Inside a Technology Drive residence, an 88-year-old woman suffered a past fall and was having related hip pain.
Wednesday, June 4
  • A Littleton Road man was suffering from an intentional overdose.
Thursday June 5
  • At 9:29 a.m. a tractor trailer rolled over on I-495 near the Route 3 interchange, with unknown injury.
  • Inside an Independence Drive building, a woman fell inside the locker room and suffered unknown injury as a result of the fall.
Friday, June 6
  • A four-car crash occurre on I-495 North with injuries, involving a Lawrence driver and a Dracut driver.
  • On State Street a crash involving a car and a motorcycle was reported.
Saturday, June 7
  • A 20-year-old woman passed out on Meehan Drive.
