Two Extricated, Three Transported to Hospital After Accident Saturday

Two were extricated from a vehicle with the Jaws of Life after an accident on Acton Road.

According to Chelmsford Police, two people were extricated from a vehicle Saturday evening after a car accident on Acton Road, three were transported to the hospital.

The accident call came in around 6 p.m. Saturday night, police said. The crash happened at the intersection of Acton Road and High Street. According to police, a driver and passenger were extricated from one car with the Jaws of Life and then transported to the hospital. The other driver was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and transported to the hospital.

Both cars suffered significant damage, police said. The severity of the injuries are unknown at this time.
