WANTED: Energy Manager with the Town of Chelmsford

The Town of Chelmsford is on the hunt for a new energy manager.

Mashail Arif, the former energy manager, resigned in mid-November ahead of her upcoming move to California.

The person who steps in the energy manager role will inherit a number of ongoing projects that Arif set into motion but will mostly, according to Arif, be in a position to pursue whatever energy-focused projects interest the individual.

According to the job posting, candidates should have “a passion for all energy-related activities within the Town” and will “multi-task a variety of energy saving programs, analyze data, track all savings and maintain the Town’s energy management plan. Monitor HVAC controls and solar energy purchases, attend Energy Conservation Committee Meetings, research grants, provide resident education and outreach.”
