Weather Alert: Snow Could Impact Tuesday Afternoon Commute
Allow extra time heading home from work Tuesday evening; or, better yet, consider leaving early.

CHELMSFORD, MA - he snow in the forecast isn’t expected to be much, but the timing is couldn’t be worse.
Snow squalls are expected to reach the Chelmsford area just in time for the later half of the Tuesday evening commute.
According to a special weather statement, snow will begin at about 3 p.m. of 4 p.m. in western New England and spread into northeast Massachusetts by 6 p.m.

Routes 2 and 3 as well as Interstate 495 will be impacted and commuters be prepared for low visibility and snow covered roads.
Most areas will pick up only an inch or two of snow before it tapers off this evening.
