CONCORD, MA — A 12-year-old girl was injured when she was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Concord Friday morning, Concord Police said in a news release.

The crash occurred around 7:34 a.m. on Commonwealth Avenue by Bradford Street, where officers gave the girl emergency medical treatment before taking her by helicopter to the hospital, according to police.

The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
