Be a Band or Ensemble member at Concord Conservatory of Music
Playing in a group unlocks opportunities for advancement, skill development, and fun!

Whether you or your kids like rock, jazz, pop, or classical music, take playing and creating music to the next level by joining a Concord Conservatory of Music ensemble. Ensembles offer students a wonderful way to learn and collaborate with peers and experience the joy of making music together.
CCM welcomes all musicians to join an ensemble, including students not participating in private lesson instruction at the school. All strings and piano players can join a chamber or jazz group. Want to rock it out instead? We encourage percussion, guitar, electric bass, piano, saxophone, and trumpet players, in addition to singers, to join a Rock Lab.
Although it does not replace individual instrument instruction, ensembles offer an excellent path to improving playing for both kids and adults. We'll match you up with players of similar age and level who are interested in playing the same kinds of music that you would like to play. Here’s the chance to play with peers and develop as an individual in an engaging music program. CCM offers a 15% discount off any ensemble tuition for students enrolled in private instruction at CCM.

Ensemble participants get weekly coaching from CCM faculty members plus access to terrific workshops and performance opportunities. Students will develop skills in technique, music reading, and solo performing, in addition to:
- Learning about teamwork, being prepared, and how to contribute to a music group
- Developing leadership and interpersonal skills
- Learning about instruments other than their own and what these instruments bring to the group
