FBI Report: How Much Violent Crime Happened in Concord?

The FBI recently released its annual ”Crime in the United States” report, which includes information about Concord.

According to the report, Concord saw 10 violent crimes in 2014. Violent crime includes offenses involving force or the threat of force: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, according to the FBI.

There were 1 reported rape, one robbery, and 8 aggravated assaults.

Other crime stats for Concord include 135 larcenies, 21 burglaries, four motor vehicle thefts, and two cases of arson.

Nationally, violent crime decreased last year by 0.2 percent from 2013, according to the report.
