New Lieutenant Promoted In Concord Police Department

Brian Goldman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

CONCORD, MA—The Concord Police Department has a new lieutenant, but he's no stranger to the force.

Brian Goldman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Goldman has served the Concord Police Department since 1992 when he started as an officer. He was promoted to sergeant in 2000 and has held a number of important leadership and supervisory positions throughout his career including patrol supervisor, training officer, accreditation manager, detective sergeant and civil rights officer.

"Lieutenant Goldman brings a wealth of experience and knowledge developed over three decades of service," Chief O’Connor said. "In his new role I expect, he will continue to deliver leadership resulting in exceptional service to our community."

Goldman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northeastern University and Master Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell both in criminal justice.
