Concord Resident To Help Set Direction Of Organization Changing Lives For People With Disabilities

Northeast Arc, a not-for-profit organization that helps children and adults with disabilities become full participants in the community, has elected Carole Wedge of Concord to its Board of Directors.
Wedge recently retired as a principal at Shepley Bulfinch, a national design firm with studios in Boston, Durham, Hartford, Houston, and Phoenix. As the former President and CEO, Carole is recognized for her leadership in the firm’s evolution and growth into an innovative organization with an open and diverse culture.
“I’m proud to join the Northeast Arc’s board of directors,” said Carole Wedge. “Throughout my career I have challenged convention and incited organizations to become more transparent, inclusive, and diverse. I’ve seen all these important attributes on display at Northeast Arc as it works to make sure people with disabilities are included in all aspects of society and I look forward to helping set its direction going forward.”
