5 Local Desserts to Pick Up for Christmas

If you're in charge of Christmas dessert, save yourself the trouble of whipping something up, and purchase a delicious dessert from one of Danvers' local shops.

Here are our picks for Christmas desserts:

1. : Choose from a variety of gelatos and sorbettos, including holiday flavors like eggnog, gingerbread, or peppermint stick.

2. : Try one of their homemade ice cream pies, or stop in for an adorable "Frosty The Snowman" Treat (pictured.) to reserve yours.

3. : Yesterday the bakery tweeted that they were all busy little elves in the shop. Check out their website for a list of the holiday desserts they're offering. All orders must be in by Dec. 22.

4. : Ice cream pies are available for Christmas, but it might be a good idea to call ahead and see what they have left, as they're going quickly! Check out their Facebook page for more information.
