5 Things You Need to Know Today: Nov. 18

It's Friday, Nov. 18 and here are 5 things you need to know:

1. Last Chance - Get those holiday recipes in if you want to We'll start posting some delicious recipes next week.

2. Tierney - Rep. John Tierney presents,

3. Strength - will be held tonight at 6 p.m. at 20 Locust St. The cost to join the class is $20.

4. Weather - The rain is finally clearing out but it will be cold today with highs in the 40's.

5. Give Back - Looking for a way to give back this season? Ma Dukes is organizing donations and volunteers to deliver Thanksgiving meals. They are looking for desserts, (cookies, brownies, cupcakes, pies, etc.), cash for buying supplies, and help with preparation for the dinners, along with people willing to deliver meals as there is a very long list of homeless and needy families already. The group delivers to Lynn, Salem, Beverly, Danvers, etc. from 10 a.m. to 7-8 p.m., on Thanksgiving Day, until everyone is fed.
