Danvers To Host 'Move Like King' Day Of MLK Jr. Celebration
The event will include student exhibitions, live musical performances and interactive, family-friendly activities.
DANVERS, MA — An afternoon of student art exhibitions, live musical performances and family-friendly, interactive activities will comprise this year's "Move Like King" Day of Celebration for the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
The event is set for the Danvers High School atrium on Jan. 19 from 3 to 5 p.m.
The Danvers Human Rights & Inclusion Committee and Danvers Public Schools will present the event, which also includes the presentation of the Seed of Hope Award, and narratives from residents on how they "Move Like King" in their lives and their work.
