$1 Million Lottery Win A 'Perfect Storm' On North Shore

The winning ticket was won at a North Shore bar famously depicted in the George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg blockbuster.

GLOUCESTER, MA — It was a proverbial "Perfect Storm" of luck for a Gloucester man as he cashed in on a $1 million instant ticket bought at the bar famously depicted in the 2000 blockbuster film starring George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg.

Robert Masjoan, of Gloucester, bought his "10,000,000 Instant Millions" instant ticket game winner at Crow's Nest on Main Street in Gloucester.

That was the bar where crew members of the Andrea Gail hung out before their fateful fishing trip during the 1991 Halloween "No Name" storm that became known as the "Perfect Storm" through the movie.
