The following information was provided by the Danvers Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the log: Dec. 18 through Dec. 21.

Sunday, Dec. 18

  • A vehicle's window was reported smashed and broken into at at 3:57 p.m.
  • A vehicle's window was reported smashed and broken into at at 7:29 p.m.
  • A vehicle was reported broken into at at 8:10 p.m.
  • A purse was reported stolen from at 9:12 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 19

  • The front windshield of a vehicle at was reported shot with BB gun pellets at 10:36 a.m.
  • Counterfeit currency was reported at at 12:31 p.m.
  • A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle at at 1:09 p.m.
  • A male yelling and staggering at was reported to police at 2:54 p.m. When police arrived, the individual was not found. 
  • A safe was reported stolen from a residence on Elliott Street at 6:09 p.m.
  • A vehicle was reported broken into at 7:09 p.m. in the parking lot. 
  • A 50-year-old male was placed in protective custody following a domestic dispute at his residence at 9:20 p.m

Tuesday, Dec. 20

  • At 8:45 a.m. a resident of Linden Drive reported the neighbor was disturbing the peace and swearing.
  • A counterfeit bill was reported at Staples at 12:38 p.m.
  • A suspicious male was reported on a resident's property on Maple Street at 5:59 p.m. When police arrived he was not there.

Wednesday, Dec. 21

  • An 8-foot stainless steel plow was reported stolen from 4 Ash St. at 10:18 a.m.
  • A vehicle's back window was reported maliciously broken on Collins Street at 2:48 p.m.
  • Seven purses were reported stolen from at 4:50 p.m.
