Dedham Resident Timothy Swan Performs in Connecticut College's Production of 'I

Timothy Swan performed in the Theater Departments' production of "I <3 Juliet" in the college's Tansill Theater Oct. 4-7.

Swan, a senior at Connecticut College, played the part of Poppa Cap and Broadcaster 2 in the production. Swan is a 2009 graduate of The Rivers School and is the son of Caroline and William Swan, Jr..

The play, written and directed by the Q Brothers while in residence at the college, is a hip-hop musical version of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. It features an original script rapped over a series of original beats that run through the whole performance.
