Art in Giving, MBACC Announce Collaborative Event with Opening Reception
The event will be held June 16 through July 31 with an opening reception held on the former date.

Mother Brook Arts & Community Center (MBACC) and Art in Giving will host a collaborative exhibit from June 16 through July 31, with an opening reception on Thursday, June 16 from 6-8 p.m. The exhibit is curated by Carol Seitchik and features work by 17 MBACC and Art in Giving artists: Terry Boutelle, Judith Brown, Jody Burr, Jodi Colella, BJ Comerford, Nicole Duennebier, Angela Fiori, Percy Fortini-Wright, Suzanne Grey, Michael Moore, Barbara Moody, Donna Leventhal, CJ Lori, Susan Lyman, Dennis Stein, Mark Thayer and Lawrence Zinno.
All participating artists have agreed to donate a portion of exhibit sales to MBACC and Art in Giving.

Mother Brook Arts & Community Center is a 501(c)(3) organization in East Dedham committed to building community through the arts. It strives to encourage the imagination of youth, inspire and expand the lives of adults and seniors and attract established and emerging artists of excellence and relevance. MBACC provides studio space, adult and children’s classes, performances, arts programming and exhibitions.
Art in Giving is an organization that combines art and philanthropy by raising money for childhood cancer research through the sale of fine art. Up to 50 percent of the proceeds from the sale of art through Art in Giving are donated to The Rachel Molly Markoff Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity that makes grants to cancer researchers.

“Collaborating with Art in Giving provides us with a distinctive opportunity to introduce new artists to our community and support a great cause,” said MBACC Executive Director Jean Ford Webb.
