Asleep At The Wheel, Parking Spot Conflict: Dedham Police Log

April 26

2:03 p.m. - During a traffic stop on River Street, a driver was issued a summons for marked lanes violation.

5:46 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Elm Street, a driver was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop at a stop sign.

April 28

4:57 p.m. - An employee at CVS Pharmacy on Route 1 told police that earlier in the day, a woman made intimidating and bully-like statements to a few employees. She said that while a customer was walking down an aisle, she was greeted by a worker asking if she needed help finding anything. The customer asked if it was because she was black and became frustrated over the question before stating that she was not afraid to put her hands on somebody. The customer did not touch the employee, make any movements that would indicate an attack, or display a weapon.

April 29

10:47 a.m. - A vehicle on Route 1 was rear-ended after the driver of the other vehicle fell asleep at the wheel.

1:54 p.m. - A neighborhood dispute was reported over a vehicle parked in a sport for unloading for too long. One person told police that his granddaughters were unloading his ruck when they were told to move by a woman, who used vulgar language and kicked his wheelchair. The woman was told that if she had a problem to call police and don’t say anything. She said she would say something.
