• Blue Ribbon BBQ in Dedham Is Closing (blogspot.com) — Blue Ribbon BBQ’s Dedham location at 342 Washington Street is closing at the end of the year, ending both local service and a regular live-music residency there. Other locations in Arlington, West Newton, and Time Out Market Boston are expected to remain open, but Dedham residents will soon need to travel for their Blue Ribbon fix.

• Worshippers allegedly escorted off church property by police, away from controversial nativity scene (boston25news.com) — Residents may notice continued police and media attention around St. Susanna’s Parish in Dedham, where worshippers say officers asked them to move their rosary prayer off church property near the parish’s controversial “ICE WAS HERE” nativity display. Parish leaders defend the decision, critics call the display a political stunt, and the archdiocese and Dedham Police have not yet fully responded publicly.
