The Dedham Junior Women's Club held their first meeting of 2025 at the Endicott Estate on Tuesday evening. During the meeting club members welcomed four new women to the club with a short new member ceremony. The new members included Nick Barrett, Casey Johnson, Lacy Mallett and Cara Crisafulli.

After a brief explanation of activities from each committee chairperson, club members voted on the board recommendations. The board recs that passed included a $500 donation to the Dedham Booster Club for the Anthony "JuJu" Mucciaccio scholarship; purchasing a $350 table for the Dedham Museum and Archives Trivia Night on February 7, and a $250 donation to the Animal Rescue League.

Plans are under way for the 40th Anniversary Season of the Arts at Endicott concert series. Members of this committee will be putting together another fabulous collection of bands to perform at the Endicott Estate this summer. Some special events will also be planned as the club celebrates the 40th year of this program that is offered to the public free of charge.

Even though the 2024 DJWC craft fair just wrapped up a few months again, the dedicated members of this committee will begin working on the 2025 Craft Fair in another month. Held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, this event is the largest fundraiser for the club. Proceeds raised allow the club to make donations and support various organizations through the year.

The Dedham Junior Women's club meets every 4th Tuesday of the month at the Endicott Estate (except during the summer months). Membership is open to any Dedham woman and the club welcomes anyone who is interested in joining. For more information on the club, visit their website at djwc.org or email djwc.info@gmail.com.
