Pendergast, 75 (theweektoday.com) — Family and friends are remembering David Pendergast, who was raised in Dedham and went on to a distinguished career in mental health advocacy and public service. The 75-year-old split his time between Boston, Mattapoisett, and Florida, and was known for his warmth, love of learning, and devotion to family. Visiting hours and funeral services will be held later this week in Mattapoisett.
