Dedham Needs Volunteers For Dog Park Committee

The committee works with local dog owners and the Parks & Recreation Commission.

DEDHAM, MA — Dedham is looking for volunteers interested in serving on the Dog Park Committee, which works with local dog owners and the Parks & Recreation Commission.

The Committee's primary focus is to make recommendations to the Commission including, but not limited to, policy, rules and regulations, fees, etc.

The committee’s goal is to sustain an attractive off-leash area in Dedham, while promoting responsible dog ownership through education and recreation.

The deadline to apply is Dec. 20. Applicants can send a letter explaining their interest in the Committee and qualifications to Parks and Recreation Director, 269 Common St. Dedham, MA 02026, or rstanley@dedham-ma.gov.
