Dedham Square Construction Update, Oct. 30

According to contractors, the reconstruction of the sidewalk on the southeastern corner side of the Eastern Avenue, at the High Street intersection will continue this week.  The sidewalk will be closed for one week.

The contractors will also be working on the reconstruction of High Street, from Court Street to Old River Place. The roadways will be closed and detours will be provided in order to navigate around the work area.  But on-street parking will not be allowed at night within the work area.

In fact, the contractors are warning residents to remove their vehicles by 9 p.m. Otherwise, any vehicle not moved will be towed "at the owner's expense."
