This show presents a variety of experts in discussions regarding pseudoscience and folk beliefs, to real science, why and how we believe, and critical thinking. Upcoming shows feature Dr. Paul Offit; the trio of Ray Hyman, James Alcock, and James “The Amazing” Randi; Eugenie Scott; and more.

Dr. Offit is a pediatrician specializing in infectious diseases and an expert on vaccines, immunology, and virology, while Hyman/Alcock/Randi are expert “debunkers” with numerous TV credits to their names. The trio has been on Today, The View, 20/20, Nova, Oprah, and many more; debunking such crazes as Uri Geller and spoon bending, to all kinds of psychic mysticism. Though the show may seem heady, in the words of one of his former professors, Brian has “the unique ability to bring any conversation down to its lowest level.”

502 Conversations premieres with Dr. Harriet Hall of skepdoc.info. She is a retired family physician and former Air Force flight surgeon who writes about medicine, so-called complementary and alternative medicine, science, quackery, and critical thinking.
