Dedham Voters Cast Over 3,000 Ballots By Mail

The clerk's office mailed out nearly 8,000 election ballots to Dedham residents.

DEDHAM, MA — Tons of Dedham voters aren't waiting for Nov. 3 to cast their ballots. Over 3,000 residents already voted by mail, and the numbers could keep rising.

The Dedham Town Clerk said he and his staff have stamped in more than 3,000 ballots ahead of Election Day, averaging more than 300 ballots per day over 10 days. The 3,000 ballots are coming from both the U.S. Mail or those dropped off in the ballot box at Town Hall.

Tuesday is the U.S. Postal Service's recommended deadline for submitting an application for a mail-in ballot.
