Five Things You Need to Know: Feb. 28, Movies, Re-Election Party and More

Here are five things you need to know for Thursday!

Today's Weather: For today, showers are likely, mainly after noon. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 49. For tonight, more rain with a low around 33, according to The National Weather Service.

1. The Early Childhood Education Center, 322 Sprague St. in Dedham, will have a Summer Camp Information Night at 6 p.m. Get to meet representatives from local kid camps and centers, and learn about their activities and programs.

2. Showcase Cinema de Lux, 950 Providence Hwy. in Dedham, will have a speacial Winter's Wind Movie Event at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $12 each.

3. There will be a Re-Election Launch Party for Sal Ledda at Centre Deli, 545 High St. in Dedham, at 7 p.m. Come hear Sal talk about his accomplishments as a Park & Recreation Commisioner. And he's looking forward to greeting all of his friends, neighbors, and fellow Dedham residents.  There is a $25 suggested donation (but not required).

4. The First Church of Dedham-Unitarian, 670 High St. in Dedham, will have an Older Adult Fitness class at 9:30 a.m. The classes are led by a certified knowledgeable instructor experienced in working with older adults and costs $3.50 to join.

5. And Sheep Skate Yarn & Craft, 549 High St. in Dedham, will have a Kids Crochet class at 5 p.m. The class costs $15.
