Where/When: Endicott Branch Library, 257 Mount Vernon St. in Dedham/ Saturday, Oct. 6 at 10:00 a.m.

Why Go: Bring a gently-used child's Halloween costume, size 0 to 10 and swap it with a 'new to you' costume. Any costumes not swapped will be donated to charity after the event. Catching Joy will once again be on hand with a kid's Halloween craft.

Why Go: Dress up, bring your dolls and enjoy an 1812 afternoon tea at the USS Constitution Museum on Sunday, October 7. Meet Kathleen Ernst, the author of the newest American Girl™ Historical Character Series, Caroline Abbott™, at her first Boston-area appearance! And there will be a Caroline Abbott Doll raffle!
