“Boston Medical Center never turns away (anyone from) care, and that’s why I decided to partner with them,” Mayo told the Boston Herald. “No matter what socioeconomic background you come from, they’ll take care of you. That’s dear to our hearts because my wife and I come from humble beginnings and we know how it is.”

The event was certainly star-studded as it was attended by over forty current and former New England Patriots players including Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Tedy Bruschi, Chandler Jones, Devin McCourty, Danny Amendola, Malcolm Butler, Nate Solder, Rob Ninkovich, Dont’a Hightower, Matthew Slater and more.
