New Dedham Fire Recruits Begin Training at Boston Fire Academy
The three recruits will train for 20 weeks.

Three new recruits for the Dedham Fire Department began their training this week at the Boston Fire Academy, Dedham’s Acting Fire Chief William Spillane said.
The recruits -- Dedham natives Matthew Munchbach, Keith Hibbard and Brian Hutchinson -- began the 20-week intensive training program, which comprises 53 recruits from Boston as well.
“I am very proud of our three new recruits, and I wish them the best of luck over the next four months,” Spillane said in a statement. “We have very high hopes for them, and we can’t wait to have them in the firehouse full time.”
