Over 600 Without Power Due to Hurricane Sandy

Around 7 a.m. 715 residents did not have power in their homes.  As of 8:52 a.m. that number has dropped to about 642, according to NSTAR.

On Monday night it seemed that most residents would have had power by the morning, but the winds of Hurricane Sandy was able to cause trees to break in half in several areas, causing hundreds to be without power.

According to the Town Administrator's office, there were over 30 incidents of trees and wires being cut down.
