Popular MA Home Goods Store Closing: Report
The Massachusetts location is among 26 shuttering across the country.
DEDHAM, MA — The Dedham At Home store is set to close in the fall following the company filing for bankruptcy Monday, USA Today reported.
"At Home, a furniture and home decor retailer based in Coppell, Texas, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Monday, June 16 as a result of "broader economic and retail-specific market pressures," court documents reveal," the USA Today story said. "As a result, 26 stores, from California to New York, will close by Sept. 30."
The article referenced court documents that cited rising interest rates, "persistent inflation," and increasing unease over tariffs as factors in the At Home bankruptcy filing.
