Reported Property Crimes Up in Dedham
The FBI's annual crime report shows an increase from 2010 to 2011 in reported property crimes in Dedham.

More property crimes were reported in Dedham in 2011 than were reported in 2010, according to statistics released this week by the FBI. The number reported last year was 670, while 631 were reported in 2010.
The FBI's annual Uniform Crime Report includes information submitted by local law enforcement agencies. The information is compiled and released to the public in the fall of the year that follows the reported year.

The property crime report included 72 burglaries in 2011 (71 in 2010), 573 thefts (546 in 2010), and 25 from motor vehicle thefts (14 in 2010).
In 2011, there were no reports of murder, manslaughter, forcible rape or arson.
