Shop Locally in Dedham for Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday will be taking place on Nov. 28 this year.

Small Business Saturday will be taking place on Nov. 28 this year, two days after Thanksgiving. It is a day for everyone to support the small businesses that their community thrives on.

American Express founded the day in 2010 to help small businesses get exposure during the holiday season, when they might be otherwise overlooked. With retailers buzzing around the holidays, it is important to support local small businesses that rely on their neighbors in order to continue prospering and building the local economy in Dedham.

Among Dedham’s small businesses, “East and Harris Vintage and Collectibles” will be participating. Located at the corner of East St. And Harris St., the local startup sells antiques and collectibles. “Dedham Square Country Store” is conveniently located in the same building.

Shoppers on Saturday will enjoy a jewelry show with Lillian Graham of Memory Relics, a jewelry line inspired by the old tins left in Graham’s grandparents basement. Visit between the hours of 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at 553 High Street in Dedham Square.
