What is considered "yard waste"?

Yard waste includes leaves, grass, brush (less than 3 inches in diameter and less than 3 feet in length). Do not mix yard waste with other items for disposal, such as household items, and do not include plastic bags.

How do I dispose of yard waste?

All yard waste must be separated out from recycling and other disposal items, and placed into unlined trash bins, paper bags, or special "earth bags" labeled specifically for yard waste (available for purchase at grocery stores and home improvement stores). All brush and branches must be bundled and secured for disposal. Place all yard waste at the curb for collected on your regular recycling day.

The final yard waste collection date for the year is December 10, 2021.
