• Deerfield Selectboard sets new conditions for Tree House Brewing Co.'s summer concerts (recorder.com) — Deerfield’s Selectboard has renewed Tree House Brewing’s entertainment license but added stricter rules on concert times, school-night “blackout” dates, and sound limits after dozens of noise complaints. The brewery must end September shows by 10 p.m., cap weekly concerts, and fund a sound study, while large events now require a detailed emergency operations plan approved by local public safety officials.

• Driver taken to hospital after rollover in Whately (recorder.com) — A man in his 60s or 70s was hospitalized with apparently minor injuries after his car rolled over on State Road in Whately Monday evening. South Deerfield firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free him, while Deerfield and Whately police directed traffic around the scene during the roughly 30-minute rescue.
