Announcing Auditions for the Dover-Sherborn Summer Drama Program

JOIN the Dover-Sherborn MS/HS SUMMER DRAMA Program!

On the heels of the hugely successful Dover-Sherborn productions of Descendants, Beauty and the Beast, and Almost Maine, we are excited to announce the 2022 Dover-Sherborn Summer Drama Program! Now in its 15th season, Dover-Sherborn Schools, in cooperation with Community Education and the Sherborn Community Center, offers this incredible summer opportunity to all Dover and Sherborn residents currently in GRADES 6 thru 11!

The program is organized and directed by Mr. Scott Walker, the Director for the DSHS Musicals and Director of the DSMS/HS Summer Drama Program, with rehearsals and performances at the Sherborn Community Center. It is truly a fun, rewarding, local, friendly, team-building, learning and performing experience!

THE PRODUCTION: A COMEDIC MURDER MYSTERY DINNER THEATER!
Mr. Walker is excited to announce that he has chosen to do a lighthearted, comedic, interactive, murder-mystery dinner theater this summer! For those of you who have not seen or been in one of the DS Dinner Theaters, you are in for a fantastic, fun-filled, hilarious experience! Not only do the students perform a very funny murder mystery show, but throughout the night, the cast also serves the audience a three course catered dinner and does improv with the audience members revealing clues to the whodunit. At dessert, audience members guess who the killer is and could win a prize for correctly identifying the guilty one!

Auditions to determine roles are June 7th & 9th from 3:30-5:15pm in the DSMS Choral Room.
