SHERBORN, MA — It's not often that you can sample over 20 local vendors at one tavern, but that'll be the case this weekend. The Fireside Tavern in Sherborn is set to host the 10th annual Sherborn Brewfest on Friday, in which all proceeds will go toward local nonprofits and community organizations through the Sherborn Business Association. This year's Brewfest is scheduled for Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the 33 North Main St. tavern. Sample offerings will be available from over 20 local vendors that make craft beers, distilled spirits, wine, hard cider and non-alcoholic beverages. Fireside Tavern's full bars will also be open for wine and spirit purchases during the event. Food is available with a $16 food ticket, redeemable for a bratwurst, burger or veggie burger (served with chips), or a soft pretzel with cheese and dessert. Tickets are $50 and include entry and unlimited samples from all participating vendors. Advance purchase is "strongly encouraged," officials said, as prices increase at the door.
