D-S Girls Soccer Headed To MIAA Div. 3 State Finals
Junior captain Victoria Ortega scored the game winning goal with 1:29 to go in the second overtime.
Note: The girls will take on Hopedale on Friday, Nov. 18 at 5:00 p.m. at Foley Stadium in Worcester.
The D-S girls varsity soccer team will advance on to the MIAA Div. 3 State Final after their, 1-0, double overtime victory over Georgetown Tuesday night at Manning Field in Lynn.

The Raiders were aggressive offensively in both overtime periods and during a scrum in front of the net junior Jackie Goudreault got the ball to Ortega, who hit into the right upper corner of the net.
D-S outshot the Royals 17-7 during the game.

For the Raiders it was their fifth shutout victory of playoffs.
The ladies will play in the championship game on either Friday or Saturday against Hopedale in Worcester.
